Letting go is hard and some people never even do. But it is only by letting go that we can evolve and experience new and wonderful things that are waiting for us out there. False hopes of travelling to distant lands with a special somebody, walking through bazaars and markets, hand in hand, feeling the earth under your feet... These were hopes of mine that are now nothing but faded promises.
A very special thank you to a very special friend of mine, who's unconditional love and guidance is always there. They want nothing in return and don't just listen, but they hear. They don't give advice for the sake of talking by coming up with cliches and "I'm here if you need me". I've come to realise that so many people who proclaim to be there for somebody are actually doing it for themselves to make them feel like a good person. Then there's those who actually care. Beautiful people. There's some real superheroes out there. Decent human beings put my faith back into humanity - y'all need capes!
