Music to my ears : The Quantic Soul Orchestra

I've been a bit bored of my ipod playlists lately and looking for something fresh. I was introduced to the Quantic Soul Orchestra a while ago at 4am in the morning on a big messy night that was coming to an end, people were falling asleep and I was ready to do the same. Then somebody stuck on Apricot Morning (my favourite album of theirs) and I just had to get up and dance by myself. It's a certain sound I've never quite heard before but always longed for as a sucker for live funk, jazz, soul & breakbeats. I kid you not, these motherfuckers are pure FUNK. I could picture bboys breaking, to people dancing in carnivals with the smell of barbecued chicken in the air. Simply put its like a trumpet acid trip.
